Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-22 · FreeGenVideo

How FreeGenVideo handles account information, AI requests, payments and published work.

Scope and operator

This policy applies to FreeGenVideo, operated by FreeGenVideo, and its account, generation, billing and support features.

Information we process

Account data includes your name, email address, verification status and profile image. Google or GitHub sign-in supplies the identity information needed to authenticate you. Passwords are handled by the authentication system and are not displayed to staff.

We store prompts, task status, generated outputs, credit transactions and service settings. We also process support tickets, replies, referral records and API key metadata when you use those features. Security records may include IP addresses, browser information and sessions.

Payment records include the product, amount, currency, status and payment-provider identifiers. Stripe processes card details; this application does not store full payment card numbers.

Purposes and service providers

We process information to authenticate users, run requests, save results, apply credit charges and refunds, deliver subscriptions, answer support requests, prevent abuse, investigate errors and meet applicable record-keeping requirements.

Infrastructure, authentication, email, AI and payment providers process information needed for their features. Prompts and necessary request data are sent to the AI provider configured for the requested model, under the provider’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Do not submit information you lack permission to share. We may disclose records when legally required or necessary to investigate fraud and protect the service.

Private and published work

Generated images are private by default. Publishing an image makes its image, title and caption publicly accessible. The prompt is included only when you separately choose to share it. Withdrawing a publication stops new access through our public gallery, but cannot remove copies already downloaded or independently cached by others.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies or browser storage maintain sign-in sessions, language and appearance preferences. If optional analytics are enabled by the operator, analytics providers may process browser and usage information. Browser controls can limit cookies, but blocking essential session cookies may prevent sign-in.

For guest generation, the open-source ThumbmarkJS library computes a fingerprint from browser and device characteristics. Our server stores a keyed hash of that fingerprint to apply shared device limits and prevent abuse, alongside visitor and network limits. We do not store the underlying fingerprint components or send them to Thumbmark’s hosted service. This signal can change or be unavailable and does not reliably identify a person.

Retention, security and international processing

We retain records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and comply with applicable requirements. Deleting a generated work revokes access immediately; stored files may be removed asynchronously. Transaction and security records may need separate retention.

Access controls and authenticated routes protect data, with encrypted transport on production HTTPS deployments. No storage or transmission method eliminates every risk. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

Choices and privacy requests

You can manage published work and subscriptions in your account. Contact support to request access, correction, export or deletion of personal information. We may verify your identity before acting. Rights, response times and exceptions depend on applicable law.

The service is not designed for children under 13. Contact support if you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization.

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as features or practices change. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required. Use the support details below for privacy questions and requests.
